With everything put together, there's still a massive shortage of rough diamonds as consumer demand has been growing in leaps and bounds. The growth in the diamond industry has been mainly inflationary -- prices have increased and not volumes. The situation is unlikely to improve until someone finds a big mine somewhere. Hi Vasundhara,

Some of these companies are also working in close patnership with giants like De Beers , BHP etc. Is there some reason why rough diamond traders and polished manufacturers are not looking at these companies as a another source of rough diamond??
